Ceramics Program 2024-25 Artist In Residence Yonatan Hopp is an industrial designer who works predominantly in ceramics, with a hands-on research-through-making approach. His practice brings together methods and modes of work from industrial design, digital fabrication and craft to investigate new possibilities for production of objects. His research explores how the combination of these methodologies may generate original object languages, free of appropriated traditions, archetypical forms or paraphrased signs.
