Support for Local Vendors at Neighborhood Art Markets this Holiday Season!
Are you a local creative entrepreneur selling artisanal goods, vintage items or handcrafted gifts at a winter market this holiday season? The Harvard Ed Portal wants to support your business through free workshops this fall. If you attend two or more of our (free!) programs this fall, we’ll also cover the cost of your table fee to vend at an Allston-Brighton or Cambridge holiday art market or pop-up.
Looking to participate? Follow these steps:
1. Apply to be a vendor at an art market or pop-up located in Allston-Brighton or Cambridge and occurring between Thanksgiving and December 31, 2023.
2. Register and attend any two (2) Ed Portal Economic Development workshops between September 1 and December 31, 2023. Upcoming eligible workshops are found here.
3. Contact us to submit the invoice for your vendor fee for payment by Harvard or for assistance with your market registration and on-the-spot payment of the vendor fee on your behalf.*
*This opportunity is open to all creatives and entrepreneurs, regardless of residency. Artists who live in Allston-Brighton or Cambridge, or whose studio or art business is based there, are eligible for up to $150 of vending fee support. Entrepreneurs from all other locations are eligible for up to $50. Limit 1 market per artist.
