On May 12, join the Harvard Ed Portal for an in-person reception for this powerful exhibition! Meet the artists, nibble on food, and enjoy live entertainment while you sip wine and absorb the art. Drop in any time. Poetry and music start at 7:00pm.

Inspired by the Haitian proverb kouri lapli, tonbe larivyè—or “running in the rain, falling in the river”—this exhibition explores the epic journey many people make from Haiti to the U.S. in search of a better life.

Visit the Crossings Gallery to see the artwork in-person anytime from April 18–May 20.*
