Are you new to knitting and want a solid foundation to build on? Whether your end goal is sturdy potholders or delicate lace, this class will put you on the path to a skill that will keep your hands busy and turn out beautiful and useful projects. Beginners will learn the basic knit stitch, how to cast on and bind off, how to choose yarn for a project, and how to fix common mistakes. This class will empower participants to continue to improve their skills after the class ends.

The materials fee for this class is $15. This is separate from the ticket price and is to reimburse the instructor for any tools or materials used in this class. This will be paid once, directly to the instructor at the start of the first class meeting. This instructor accepts payments in cash, check, Venmo, or Paypal.

The material fee may be waived if you bring your own yarn and needles.
