Class Description
This is an introductory course for anyone interested in screen printing — any skill level is welcome, but no prior knowledge or experience is required.

In this class, you’ll get to burn a screen with your own design, print your single-color designs onto paper or textiles, and learn about the ins and outs of basic screen printing.

If students bring their own screen they will take home their screen with their design so they can continue to print at home

This class includes tool testing on the light-box, wash-out booth, and power washer.

Instructor – Liv Cappello
Liv (she/her) is a local artist based in Somerville. She loves screen and linocut printing and runs a small business called Long Trail Studio that specializes in both. She’s super excited to teach at Artisan’s Asylum and spread her love of printmaking with others!

Material Fee
The materials fee for this class is $10. This is separate from the ticket price and is to reimburse the instructor for any tools or materials used in this class. This will be paid once, directly to the instructor at the start of the first class meeting. This instructor accepts payments in cash or through Venmo.
