Ever wondered what happens in the Harvard Art Museum conservation labs? Join a member of the Straus Center staff for an informal conversation about their work treating objects in the collections. Taking place just outside the Straus Center in the Lightbox Gallery, this presentation will give visitors the chance to get up close and hands-on with a selection of tools and materials used by conservation staff. In this session, assistant paper conservator Abby Schleicher will talk about identifying printmaking techniques.
The Harvard Art Museums offer free admission every day, Tuesday through Sunday. Please see the museum visit page to learn about our general policies for visiting the museums.
