Join the Harvard Ed Portal for Spontaneous Symbols, a performance of new works composed by the veteran string quartet Brooklyn Rider.

Known for their global collaborations and provocative interpretations of the standard performance, this event shows the quartet at the core of their mission: bringing new works to life. The evening will feature works by Battles veteran Tyondai Braxton, BR’s own Colin Jacobsen, Bang On A Can founder Evan Ziporyn, electro-acoustic composer Paula Matthusen, and Brooklyn-based guitarist, composer and arranger, Kyle Sanna.

A limited number of free tickets are available to Ed Portal members – please contact the front desk at 617-496-5022 for more information.
